Sarah Palin's Official Website & Blogs

Almost everybody is asking "Who is Sarah Palin" so I thought I'd provide a list of the best links, including some to her official websites that come from the state of Alaska where she is the Governor.

McCain's Palin pick is certainly successful at focusing attention on her and away from the Democratic Convention and Obama which have completly dominated the US news cycle for the past four days. Unlike Obama's VP Joe Biden, Palin has a very "new and interesting" appeal to the media, though I remain skeptical that Hillary Clinton supporters are likely to change their party allegiances to vote for somebody who is even more conservative than McCain.

Gov. Palin is a woman with no respect for herself and that of woman kind. Women should have the right to do as they please with their body in regards to abortion. The government should not have that choice. Women are capable of making that descision.

I have concerns about Sarah Palin. She is absolutely bright, articulate, and accomplised. Being a wife and mother never prevent women from achieving and serving. However, being the VP at this point in her life will impact her family.

Gov. Palin's huisband cannot continue his livlihood in Washington DC. If he remains in Alaska, theirs is a commuter marriage of huge proportions. The children will be uprooted or have an absentee mother.

The teen daughter behaved very irresponsibly and a baby is the result. I wish Gov. Palin would acknowledge that her daughter made poor choices. I also hope these young people are not being pushed into marriage. They need support, not more stress.

I have to reflect more on this new ticket. McCain had my vote but now the jury is out.

Are you ladies kidding? There are plenty of mothers that hold powerful positions in major corporations. As as father of four, I am more than capable and willing to step in and take on the added family resposibilities if my wife was given this opportunity.

I believe that comments like these are not only disrespectul to Mrs. Palin but to her husband as well.

As for her teenage daughter, no matter how hard we try as parents, our kids will make mistakes. Our upbringing and values will show in how they handle these errors.

To the first post... Not all women believe in abortion and because Sarah stands up for these beliefs does not make her weak or ignorant. In fact she is strong for standing up to the loud minority and defending the principals of this country.

Behind every successful man is a woman! Who better to motivate and initiate progress. I have a woman behind me who has my back helping me succeed. It is a welcome combination.

I don't find anything positive about Gov. Palin. She is extremely sarcastic and full of lies. I have a huge list on my blog of all her lies which were so many that I had to post a "part II". We don't need another liar in office.
Above all, I do not support anyone who does not support animal welfare and renewable energy. It's quite clear that she cares for neither...
Because she is a woman should not sway a vote here or there. She hasn't brought anything to the table to even be able to "sway". Apparently, the American people are falling for her "hockey mom" profile and ignoring the many lies.
You are only beginning to hear the very few of VERY MANY.
Feel free to do your own research to confirm this.

A dear friend of many years shared this with me. He's been a CPA for a reputable firm here in fort worth and is considering retirement soon. obviously he deemed this worthy of reading or would not otherwise have bothered sending it to me. I'm not sure who it's author is, but i do know that i am challenged to dig even deeper regarding this election and hope you will be also. hugsss, babs

There a several points made here that people might seriously look into. The information's out there you might have to look a little harder and deeper, but it might be worth it to find the truth! I am not thrilled by either candidate to be honest with you. But this election ... there seems to be so much more at stake, more Internet garbage than ever and who can sort out what is true and what is a lie.

Politicians pride themselves on their double talk and excel at it-just like lawyers, LOL. There is just so much a person can believe though, and then that person really needs to look for themselves as to what they want to believe. I mean, do you think maybe Barack "Barry" Obama maybe absorbed some of the views from his EX-pastor as he was a member of the congregation there for many years? And then ... Subject: A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing?

This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking 'where did the money come from for Obama'? I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.

I started looking into Obama's life.

Around 1979, Obama started college at Occidental in California . He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan .

During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia , next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question....Where did he get the money for this trip? Neither I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York . It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia ? It's not cheap to say the least!!! Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe?

After Columbia , he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. A year. Why Chicago? Why not New York ? He was already living in New York .

By 'chance' he met Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria , and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Decade' by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association'. About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School . Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans?

After Law school, he went back to Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented 'Rezar' which Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed money' for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property?

On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz , Iran ! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?

On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with 'Hamas', which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will 'Take care of things'.

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakistan ? They are in charge of all those 'small' Internet campaign contributions for Obama.

Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on 'This Week' with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, 'My Muslim faith'.

When questioned, 'he make a mistake'. Some mistake!

All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times - September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own, Why haven't all of our 'intelligent' members of the press been reporting this?

A phrase that keeps ringing in my ear - 'Beware of the enemy from within'!!!

Senator Obama was elected because he was black not in spite of being black. People, especially the young and idealistic, want racism to disappear so they voted for a black candidate - very Christian, very chic but if he was white and had the same experience and credentials, he wouldn't have had a chance. Too bad the country isn't as worried about women's rights. Governor Palin had more experience than Senator Obama by any measure and yet these same idealistic people ridiculed and diminished a women of great accomplishment. Racism is alive and well; women's rights aren't even a consideration. We don't seem to be making much progress.
